An Introduction to Hiking the Seoul Wall

One of my favorite memories of Seoul from when I first came to the city was hiking the Seoul Wall. It’s difficult to do the whole thing in a day, but possible with an early start.

The wall oldest surviving pieces of the wall date back to the 1400’s, and there are newer sections along its length. In some places, the wall has disappeared entirely, but mostly there are at least remnants for the entire distance around the city of Seoul.
